eBay seller oohellsbellsoo of bicester Oxfordshire, GB, United Kingdom, not only stole our Uncirculated 1980 Elizabeth II Sovereign Obverse image without permission, but failed to tell buyers her coin was not the same one.

For sale is my 1980 gold sovereign, IT IS REAL GOLD and in brand new condition as it's been in a jewellery box since I was given it, it comes mounted in a gold surround and on a gold chain (both also brand new)
The coin is 1980 gold ef sovereign uncirculated
I want �300 for the coin gold surround and chain altogether and I'm open to sensible offers.
My paypal isn't currently working (sic) so item will have to be either cash on collection or alternatively I'll accept postal order or cheque but won't send the item until payment clears then the item will be posted 1st class recorded delivery.

I put in the description I want �300 for the sovereign the chain and the surround but I actually only want �260 sorry for the confusion!

The seller was asking a starting price of �260 for this listing.
Whatever the items "sell" for, after eBay's greedy 10% selling fees, and possible PayPal charges, the crook may have been much better off selling the coins to us, instead of stealing our photographs.
She might have had more chance of selling it if she have included mount and chain in the title. It's a wonder she hasn't complained that we don't have a photo of her coin in its mount.

eBay Guilty of Negligence or Complicity
We will be reporting this example of copyright abuse using our standard Statutory Declaration via the eBay VeRO programme, and wait to see if they chose to action or ignore our report. We look forward to taking legal action against eBay for their negligence and / or complicity if they fail to take down the offending material promptly.
