1875 Gold Sovereign Victoria Young Head Shield - Sydney Mint
The only mint which issued shield sovereigns in 1875 was Sydney.
Both Melbourne and Sydney Mints issued 1875 dated sovereigns with the St. George and dragon reverse design.
The London Mint issued no sovereigns of any type dated 1875. The Melbourne Mint produced only the St. George and dragon type in 1875, and no shields.
