1867 Gold Sovereigns Do Not Exist
Sorry to tell you this if that is what you were looking for, but at least now you can stop looking, and think about an alternative.
1867 Gold Sovereigns Were Not Issued
But the good news is that half sovereigns were issued.
If you are a sovereign collector, you probably already knew this was a non-existent date, and a half sovereign will be of no use or interest to you. If however you are looking for this date as a gift item, then a half sovereign may be a reasonable alternative.
In addition, Australian Sovereigns were struck in Sydney for the year 1867. They did not generally circulate in Britain however, although later Australian Sovereigns, struck to a common British Imperial design, did circulate from 1870 onwards.
We may have an 1867 half sovereign in stock, you may wish to look at the Victorian Half Sovereigns For Sale page of our Tax Free Gold website.
We are sorry if we were not able to help you, but at least you are no longer searching for a non-existent date.
