Our Standard Terms and Conditions of Purchase|
If you wish to sell your items to us, we request you follow our buying terms.
If the price of your items is based on fluctuations on the precious metal prices and you wish to fix the price prior to sending your items to us, we will only hold the price for a period of 24 hours. We will hold the price on the understanding that your items are posted to us first class/ next day special delivery to be collected and postmarked the same day, so that it should be received the next working day. If an agreement is made by telephone, we will require the purchaser's name, address, and telephone number at the point of agreement.
Where fixing a price over the telephone, providing the information given is accurate the price will be upheld. Therefore, as a binding offer which the user accepts by sending the goods.
If our offer is not accepted within 24 hours, we reserve the right to re-evaluate the offer based on any fluctuations in precious metal prices.
When sending goods to us we require that you send them with a cheque for £10, if you accept our offer we will return your £10 cheque along with a cheque for your coins. If you decline our offer we will use the £10 cheque to cover our costs and the cost of insured return postage.
Payment by Cheque
We can make payment to you by cheque. The cheque will be posted to you first class. If you wish to have your cheque sent to you by 'Recorded Signed For' delivery, this can be done for a charge of £1.50. This will be deducted from the total of your sale.
If for any reason your cheque does not arrive (and we have confirmed we have sent it) we must allow 7 days from issue before we will cancel it with the bank and re-issue it, any earlier will result in a £10 admin charge by the bank.
Payment by Bank Transfer
We can make payment by bank transfer. To effect payment this way we will require your bank details in writing, these can be sent along with your items in the post or via email, we will not accept them over the telephone.
Payment will be made via a BACS transfer and these can take 2 -3 working days to show in your bank account. If you wish to receive payment via a CHAPS transfer there will be a £30 charge, this will be deducted from the total of your sale.
Payment by Cash
If you are visiting our showroom we can make payment by cash, subject to availablity. We will make payment by cash for a value of up to £500, any amount over will be subject to a 1% service charge. For payment to be made by cash we require two forms of identification, we will require photo I.D. in the form of photocard driving licence or passport and also a recent utility bill as proof of address.
If you decide not to sell your items to us and wish to collect them, we expect them to be collected promptly. We will not be held responsible for any items left over 3 months.
If you decide not to sell them to us and have not provided a £10 cheque for return postage, again we will not be held responsible for any items left over 3 months.
Any items left over a period of 3 months will be dealt with at management discretion.
Visiting our Showroom
If you wish to visit our showroom to sell your items we will require some form of I.D, for payments by cash please see our 'Payment by Cash' requirements.
All contracts will be deemed to be entered into at Blackpool, England, and be dealt with under English Law.
