- Young Head Shield Reverse
Victoria "shields" were issued from 1838 to 1887 inclusive.
- Young Head St. George & Dragon Reverse
The Victoria young head St. George & dragon reverse type was issued from 1871 to 1887 inclusive.
- Jubilee Head St. George & Dragon Reverse
The "Jubilee" head was issued from 1887 to 1893 inclusive. These all have the St. George & dragon reverse.

Mints

Availability
As with many older sovereigns, availability can be quite variable, particularly in better condition. Often we come across small batches of sovereigns, all of a particular date and mintmark, so that we have an abundant supply while stocks last, then we may not see another similar batch for years.
